We are looking for a local first level IT support technician. You will be part of the EMEA IT support team and provide 1 st level support to all users for the Ostrava/Prague office locally and the entire region remotely.

The main responsibilities for the role

• ▪Provide technical support for users in the EMEA region, their client computers running Windows and the local technical infrastructure
• ▪Set up new client computers or reinstall for further use
• ▪Provide IT related introduction training for new hires
• ▪Liaise with IT operation colleagues in order to resolve local issues, resolve tickets assigned within the IT helpdesk ticket system and escalate tickets as appropriate
• ▪Test and support implementation of new IT technologies

Further duties will include

• ▪Report to the regional IT management about your activities
• ▪Take over other IT related duties as business requires it
• ▪Follow and enforce IT policies
• ▪Documentation

You may impress if you have experience with

• ▪Customer facing or service position
• ▪Installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware, operating systems (Windows) and applications
• ▪Network topologies, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• ▪Fluent English

You should be able to handle technically

• ▪OS Windows 10/11
• ▪MS Office Suite
• ▪HW systems support
• ▪Cloud computing (Office 365)

Nice to have

• ▪Knowledge of Apple products
• ▪Vendor management
