TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER – Smart Care

The Technical Product Manager owns the technical vision and the delivery of a part of smart care product portfolio and manages the product life cycle – from strategic planning and market analysis to product launch and support. He/She owns the product development projects and drives the change management. This role requires strong technical acumen, effective communication across functions, and a structured, results-driven approach to product development in both hardware and software environments.
What are going to be your duties?
- ▪Translating market needs and competitor insights into product features and viable technical solutions – all that supported by business reasoning
- ▪Analyze and supervise product pricing and cost structures
- ▪Participate in and contribute to business cases and discussions
- ▪Support Segment Leader in evaluating business opportunities and prioritizing product features
- ▪Own full product lifecycle for Smart Care products, both hardware and software, including planning, documentation, and change control
- ▪Define and manage system architecture and end-to-end solutions, including cloud-connected or hybrid deployments
- ▪Lead software product initiatives: manage development lifecycles, releases, and implementations across Agile/DevOps environments
- ▪Ensure process diligence: consistent documentation, release management and change control, and traceability
- ▪Oversee regulatory compliance, medical certification processes, and ITIL-based product support setup and execution
- ▪Coordinate QA and compliance-related tasks
- ▪Collaborate with R&D, QA, Sales, and Marketing
- ▪Communicate technical topics in clear, simplified language for commercial audiences
- ▪Present product concepts and updates in English to internal and external stakeholders
- ▪Foster effective cooperation across departments
- ▪Defend proposals with clarity, confidence, and data-driven arguments
- ▪Support installation, field testing, and end-user training for product deployments
What we think the right candidate should know, have....
- ▪University degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related
technical field
- ▪Proven experience in IT hardware or software product management & development
- ▪Familiar with Agile, DevOps, or Waterfall methodologies
- ▪Experience with cloud architecture, IoT solutions, or system-level HW/SW designs
preferred
- ▪Knowledge of PCB design, electrical testing, or mechanical engineering is an advantage
- ▪Organized and process oriented approach with strong time management and backlog
documentation skills
- ▪Familiarity with medical software certification processes (advantage)
- ▪Familiarity with Hospital information systems and medical software interopwerability
(advantage)
- ▪Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and in Czech
- ▪Confident, self-driven, and able to independently defend proposals
