As the System Administrator of Infrastructure Operations in Deutsche Boerse’s Chief of Technology. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our Red Hat systems across physical servers, virtual servers on-premise, and in the GCP and Azure clouds. You will leverage your expertise in Red Hat Linux, cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure as code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential as you work on various IT projects, particularly those related to cloud migration.
Your responsibilities
- ▪Manage and maintain Red Hat systems across physical servers, virtual servers, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
- ▪Implement automation solutions using Ansible to streamline system configuration, deployment, and management tasks
- ▪Utilize Terraform to define and provision infrastructure as code for cloud environments
- ▪Collaborate with application teams to design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements (mainly the feasibility of migration from on-premise to Cloud)
- ▪Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability
- ▪Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software delivery processes
- ▪Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, and implement measures to enhance system security
- ▪Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for system-related incidents
Your profile
- ▪Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role, with a focus on Red Hat systems
- ▪Strong proficiency in Red Hat Linux administration and troubleshooting
- ▪Hands-on experience with cloud platforms , particularly GCP and Azure
- ▪Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible for configuration management and orchestration
- ▪Experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform
- ▪Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, including GitHub Actions
- ▪Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- ▪Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ▪Strong communication and collaboration skills
- ▪Proficiency in written and spoken English
