We are looking for ServiceNow Engineer to join one of our infrastructure teams that is responsible for implementing and supporting ServiceNow solution in Commerzbank, including CMDB, Discovery, IT Operations Management, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and SecOps.
Your tasks
- ▪Managing and implementing ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM solutions with a focus on Discovery and CMDB modules, and MID servers across production and non-production environments.
- ▪Configuring, troubleshooting and enhancing existing Discovery implementations, including performance tuning and resolving critical production issues and defects.
- ▪Implementing Discovery for complex enterprise environments including on-premise and Azure/Google cloud infrastructures, vCenters, and different network and SNMP based devices.
- ▪Supporting and collaborating with Product Owners, enhancing ServiceNow processes and ensuring delivery and maintenance of processes.
- ▪Developing and maintaining Discovery patterns and integrations with various third-party tools and data sources to ensure accurate, complete, and reliable CMDB data.
- ▪Developing and implementing new ServiceNow features and enhancements, including integrations between ServiceNow and external systems via REST, SOAP, and other protocols, as well as data consolidation and transformation.
- ▪Aligning with platform governance and ServiceNow best practices while ensuring compliance with Commerzbank policies and standards.
- ▪Creating and maintaining technical documentation and standard operational procedures.
Your profile
- ▪Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform and its core modules, such as ITOM, ITAM, Discovery and CMDB.
- ▪Deep technical understanding of ServiceNow Discovery, including MID server concepts, network and infrastructure discovery, Discovery Patterns, Pattern Designer, credentials and integrations.
- ▪General understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, operating systems, cloud platforms, and common authentication methods.
- ▪Hands-on experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow server-side or client-side scripting.
- ▪Hands-on experience with integrations between ServiceNow and other third-party systems, REST APIs and cloud APIs, including use of ServiceNow Integration Hub.
- ▪Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
- ▪Ability to work in agile environment.
- ▪Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- ▪English written and spoken, any German skills would be seen as an advantage.
