Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Prague. As a member of the APEX team, you will be responsible for developing various web applications with a focus on AI use-cases for our business within the pharmaceutical company. You will be working in a cross-functional agile team and contribute to architecture, prototyping, and development, and strive for successful delivery of quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• ▪Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to develop applications
• ▪Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using TypeScript and / or Python
• ▪Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and contribute ideas for improving the application's architecture, scalability, and performance
• ▪Stay updated with the latest software engineering patterns and principles to continuously improve the application
• ▪Work closely with product owners, UX designers and other functions to deliver high-quality software

Qualifications

• ▪Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices
• ▪Proficiency in TypeScript (JS) or Python
• ▪Solid experience with React, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
• ▪Experience with AWS/Azure and Terraform
• ▪Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a big plus)
• ▪Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• ▪Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
• ▪Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with GitHub (GH Actions is a big plus)
• ▪Understanding of secure software development principles
• ▪Flexibility and willingness to learn new / different technology skills
• ▪Experience with and active usage of developer AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot / Claude Code / Cursor / Kiro / etc.)
• ▪Understanding and experience with Spec-driven Development is a plus
