The company operates with a clear, performance-driven business model and moves fast: testing new ideas, validating unit economics, and scaling what works.
As the new Head of Growth (R&D Growth) , you will help ensure a continuous pipeline of new niches, verticals, and product concepts for launch by identifying directions with clear unit economics and strong market opportunities.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Discovery & Niche R&D
- ▪Ongoing monitoring of the B2C subscription market, paid acquisition ecosystem, and high-risk/high-performance segments.
- ▪Working with multiple insight sources: communities, affiliate/UA networks, publishers, spy tools, case studies, and partners.
- ▪Building and prioritizing a hypothesis backlog: vertical → ICP/offer → funnel → creative strategy → key metrics.
Validation & Unit Economics
- ▪Translating hypotheses into quantified business cases: expected CPA, CR, ARPU/LTV, payback period, and margin.
- ▪Partnering with analytics/product to design experiments and define clear go/no-go criteria.
- ▪Preparing structured test plans with defined budgets and timelines.
Launch & Scaling
- ▪Launching and managing paid traffic tests (or coordinating UA/media buying) and setting clear requirements for product and creative teams.
- ▪Iterating based on test results: offer, paywall, pricing, onboarding, web funnels, creatives.
- ▪Scaling successful cases and shutting down underperforming initiatives.
Web Funnels & Payments
- ▪Developing and optimizing web-to-app and web-to-web funnels, payment flows, and understanding the impact of PSPs, chargebacks, and compliance on unit economics.
- ▪Collaborating with teams responsible for building and maintaining payment infrastructure.
Internal Entrepreneur
- ▪Contributing to the strategic direction of new initiatives: where to allocate capital, what level of risk is acceptable, and which bets to prioritize.
- ▪Communicating with the Founder/CEO in a concise, numbers-driven way, with clear recommendations and actionable insights.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
- ▪Proven experience at the intersection of Growth, User Acquisition, and Product in B2C subscription businesses (utilities, consumer apps, mobile and web funnels).
- ▪Experience managing teams: setting goals, structuring workflows, and ensuring execution and delivery.
- ▪Strong hands-on background in paid acquisition with a deep understanding of how creatives, offers, and funnels impact unit economics.
- ▪Solid understanding of web funnels and payments: web-to-app / web-to-web flows, pricing and paywalls, and the impact of payment infrastructure on performance metrics.
- ▪Strong market awareness across niches and traffic sources (affiliates, publishers, performance ecosystem).
- ▪Ability to track market trends and identify emerging opportunities and demand.
- ▪Ability to bring data-driven ideas supported by numbers: LTV, ROAS, CPA, payback, margins, and sensitivity analysis.
- ▪Ability to rapidly design and execute tests: hypothesis → launch → insights → next iteration.
- ▪The existing industry network is a strong advantage.
What is important for us in a person?
- ▪Entrepreneurial mindset: identifies opportunities, evaluates risks, launches fast, and focuses on generating profit and real outcomes.
- ▪Global thinking: able to operate from strategic vision down to operational execution and details.
- ▪Margin and results orientation: focuses on growth, profitability, and unit economics rather than processes for the sake of process.
- ▪High level of ownership and autonomy: comfortable working with limited briefs, proactively clarifying requirements, proposing solutions, and driving them to completion.
- ▪Strong data-driven communication: clearly and concisely explains what should be done and why, using numbers and structured reasoning; able to communicate effectively with founders and executives.
- ▪Trend awareness and curiosity: stays at the forefront of industry trends and continuously scans for new signals, opportunities, and insights.
- ▪Pragmatism and speed: prioritizes rapid testing and iteration over lengthy discussions and perfectionism.
