AVL Czech Republic s.r.o. is looking for a qualified and motivated Development Calibration Engineer for the development of powertrains and calibration of engine control units. This position is ideal for technically skilled candidates interested in the development of both combustion and electrified powertrain systems.

Location: Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic – open to relocation and interested in new opportunities!

We would like to hear from you in case you:

• ▪University degree in technical field (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, vehicle technology)
• ▪Practical experience in engine development or ECU calibration
• ▪Strong understanding of combustion engines, powertrains, and electrification
• ▪Knowledge of automotive development processes is an advantage
• ▪Experience with tools such as DiagRa, INCA, or similar systems is an advantage
• ▪Advanced PC skills (MS Office, diagnostic software)
• ▪Communicative knowledge of Czech, English, or German (minimum level B2)
• ▪Category B driving license – active driver

Your main responsibilities will be

• ▪Calibration of engine control units during powertrain and vehicle development up to the start of series production
• ▪Collaboration on the development of combustion engines, hybrid, and electric powertrains
• ▪Working with diagnostic and measurement tools (e.g. DiagRa, INCA)
• ▪Evaluation of data from test drives and laboratory measurements
• ▪Cooperation with development teams, test engineers, and suppliers
• ▪Compliance with occupational safety, fire protection, and environmental standards
