GARI is looking for someone energetic and inventive that will research and gather available data on international flows and events, help to create a dynamic, robust database, identify trends, correlate these trends with each other, and with significant developments in the global world or particular countries.

Data researcher

Responsibilities and duties will include

Conceptualisation and operationalisation of researched phenomena

Investigating and searching for relevant data sources and databases

Data scraping and data mining, API querying

Scripting and preparing documentation

Data pre-processing

Updating and managing the database

Qualifications and Skills

General interest in data

Attention to detail

Ability to write comprehensive reports

Experience with programming languages

Ability to work with large datasets

Basic SQL knowledge
