For a technology-driven manufacturing company operating in the automotive and microelectronics environment, we are looking for a Controller / Cost Estimator (m/f/d). In this role, you will support management and operational teams by providing transparency on costs, profitability and investments, with a strong focus on manufacturing and project cost estimation.
Your Responsibilities
- ▪Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and management reporting
- ▪Cost estimation and calculation for products, tools and manufacturing processes
- ▪Analysis and valuation of inventories, work in progress and assets under construction
- ▪Material and production cost controlling, including inventory management and stocktakes
- ▪Monitoring and controlling of investments and capital expenditures
- ▪Profitability analysis of business units and projects (profit center reporting)
- ▪Preparation of product costing, cost center accounting and KPIs
- ▪Financial controlling and commercial evaluation of projects
- ▪Preparation of budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc analyses, including recommendations for action
Your Profile
- ▪Several years of experience in controlling and/or cost estimation in a manufacturing environment
- ▪Strong understanding of industrial production processes and cost structures
- ▪Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB); SAP FI/CO experience is a plus
- ▪Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
- ▪Very good English and preferably very good German
- ▪Structured, independent and detail-oriented working style with strong communication skills
- ▪Open for regular travel to Germany
- ▪Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification
