👟 Commercial Strategy & Business Performance
- ▪Own the company’s revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets across all markets and the entire product portfolio.
- ▪Define and execute the overall commercial strategy for Footshop’s European e-commerce business.
- ▪Continuously optimize inventory turnover, stock health, and working capital efficiency.
- ▪Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional frameworks that balance competitiveness, margin, and brand positioning.
- ▪Monitor commercial KPIs and market trends to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
👟 Buying & Category Management
- ▪Lead the product buying and assortment strategy across fashion, streetwear, and sneaker categories.
- ▪Manage and develop a team of 10 people divided into 5 business units, ensuring strong planning, forecasting, and assortment curation.
- ▪Oversee inventory planning and stock allocation to maximize sell-through and minimize overstock risk.
- ▪Drive portfolio development, identifying new brands and categories that align with Footshop’s positioning.
- ▪Ensure strong category performance through data-driven decision making and demand forecasting.
👟 Brand Partnerships & Supplier Negotiations
- ▪Support and maintain strategic relationships with key global brands including partners such as Nike, adidas, and other core suppliers.
- ▪Lead negotiations on commercial terms, allocations, exclusives, and strategic collaborations.
- ▪Represent Footshop in high-level brand discussions to secure long-term partnerships and preferred retailer status.
- ▪Collaborate with brands on joint commercial plans, launches, and growth initiatives.
👟 Market Expansion & Country Management
- ▪Lead Footshop’s commercial expansion across selected European markets through online channels.
- ▪Manage and develop a team of country managers responsible for local market performance.
- ▪Define and implement market-specific strategies for growth, localization, and customer acquisition.
- ▪Identify new market opportunities and oversee market entry and scaling strategies.
👟 Cross-Functional Leadership
- ▪Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to align commercial priorities with performance marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
- ▪Partner with the Head of Brand to ensure commercial activities align with brand positioning and storytelling.
- ▪Collaborate with the Chief Operational Officer (logistics, customer care, product content) to ensure operational readiness and strong customer experience.
- ▪Coordinate with the Chief Technology Officer to drive improvements in e-commerce platforms, internal systems, and data capabilities supporting commercial performance.
- ▪Work alongside the Retail Manager to align e-commerce and retail strategies and support the expansion of physical stores.
