Backend Software Engineer 100% (Remote work & periodic on-site visits. English required)

Your tasks

• ▪Conception and development of API-based backend solutions and microservices
• ▪Database modeling
• ▪Contribution to develop, implement and maintain workflows as CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with other teams.
• ▪Conception, development of new features and maintenance of legacy products
• ▪Active participation on code reviews and bug fix activities

Your profile

• ▪You have a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of professional experience
• ▪Solid foundations of the JAVA 8+ ecosystem and Spring/Spring Boot framework
• ▪Experience in relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Cassandra/ScyllaDB) database design
• ▪You are interested in Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ and MQTT technologies and ideally you already have expertise in these areas
• ▪Fluent in English, German or French is an asset
• ▪Knowledge of Agile methodologies is an asset
• ▪You are motivated, goal-oriented and pro-active team player which is comfortable with remote cross-team collaboration and communication
• ▪Willing to attend PI planning sessions in the headquarters every two month
