Core Responsibilities

As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading the daily operations of the business. Through your passion for retail, leadership and people development, you will help create a positive, high-performing and collaborative store environment.

Be a role model in store for guest experience and a true ambassador of the LEGO® Brand.

Deliver exceptional guest experiences by leading from the front on the shop floor. Support the execution of store service standards, inspire the team to maximize repeat business by creating NPS promoters and help drive strong Mystery Shopper results through coaching and follow-up actions.

Support, inspire and develop the store team for continued success.

Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of Sales Associates and Supervisors. Help create a motivating and safety-first environment where team members can grow, learn and consistently deliver outstanding branded experiences.

Drive store performance and operational excellence.

Support the Store Manager in achieving Key Performance Indicators (CR, UPT, ATV etc.), maintaining excellent merchandising standards, ensuring operational compliance and contributing to efficient store processes and profitability.

Build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships within the store and across the LEGO Group.

Work closely with Retail Operations, Retail Marketing, HR and other key partners to support business goals and ensure excellent execution in store.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in retail leadership or team management
  • Passion for delivering exceptional branded customer experiences
  • Experience coaching and developing team members
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience with retail POS systems and store operations
  • Understanding of loss prevention and cash handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Good planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English skills, spoken and written
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during peak trading periods

Typically Assistant Store Managers

  • Lead by example on the shop floor
  • Support business priorities and operational processes
  • Coach and develop team members through daily feedback and collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Store Manager to drive store success
