The role of Advanced Project Manager is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Novy Jicin, Czech Republic .
Responsibilities
- ▪Lead the acquisition phase through the LPDS/enterProj process until customer sourcing decision
- ▪Manage overall project deliverables in terms of Competitiveness, Timing, Profitability, Cash and Quality and Safety
- ▪Build and consolidate the project development budget (investments, hours) and product cost structure
- ▪Ensure effective coordination and communication within the project core team and towards internal/external stakeholders
- ▪Analyze OEM RFQ packages and ensure alignment of company responses with customer requirements
- ▪Support customer meetings, justify technical and economic positions
- ▪Ensure timely and right-first-time RFQ submissions
- ▪Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities
- ▪Prepare and maintain economic analysis and profitability files (BCT) aligned with Division and BU targets
- ▪Lead Gate reviews, project milestones, and decision-making communication across departments
- ▪Provide regular progress and risk reporting
- ▪Ensure smooth project handover after customer nomination (Gate 1)
Requirements
- ▪University degree in Engineering, Science, or Business
- ▪Strong knowledge of project management within the automotive industry
- ▪Minimum 3 years of project management experience (either as PM or project team member)
- ▪Customer-oriented mindset with strong financial understanding
- ▪Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multicultural, matrix environment
- ▪Strong networking and stakeholder-management capabilities
- ▪Good command of English; additional languages (especially German) are an advantage
- ▪Ability to lead cross-functional teams and challenge performance in cost, investment, quality and planning
- ▪Experience in analyzing RFQ packages, managing risks/opportunities, and handling business case calculation files
- ▪Willingness to travel to technical centers, customer sites, or production plants as required
